Yann Maillot and Thomas Rabaud are the co-founders and driving forces of Platinum CBD, the organization behind the Platinum CBD Cup and Cann’Agri Expo.
Yann Maillot, a passionate entrepreneur, transitioned from a career in development to championing the cannabis industry. As the association’s president, he focuses on elevating producers, fostering innovation, and promoting responsible practices. His vision and dedication have made the Platinum CBD Cup a leading event in France and beyond.
Thomas Rabaud, co-founder and logistics manager, brings vital expertise in event organization. Alongside his consulting work in the cannabis industry, he plays a key role in ensuring seamless event execution, making him indispensable to the success of both initiatives.
A clear Mission
- 2023: Launch – The inaugural edition set the foundation for our vision: a transparent competition open to all French producers, helping them gain recognition and stand out. The goal was simple: to showcase French talent in the ever-evolving CBD industry.
- 2024: Expansion – In 2024, we separated the Platinum CBD Cup from the Cann’Agri Expo, allowing each event to focus fully on its unique objectives. The Platinum CBD Cup continued to grow as the leading competition for CBD products, while the Cann’Agri Expo became a major event, bringing together professionals and the public around innovation in the cannabis industry. This separation gave both events the space they needed to grow and reach a wider audience.
